What is Tantra?

Similar practices have been developed in China(Taoism), Persia and among
East Asian and North American aboriginal peoples. The common thread all
these share is the NEED for male and female to unite their opposing forces
or 'yin and yang' or 'yab and yum'(2 jointly fitting male and female
forces)and the result is said to be spiritual transendence.Some benefits of
Tantra are: Personal spiritual and emotional growth, improved relationships
with friends and loved ones, improved health(more energy, less stress),
increased self worth, emotional balance, improved love-making and prolonged
states of ecstacy. By opening ones heart to lifes pleasures, we learn it is
'ok' to let go of some control and let some pleasure in. We learn to have
fun and play again, thus seeing 'life' in a whole new positive light.
Bliss does not come over night and those who think they can read a web
page,book or rent a movie and expect to find peace,joy,and harmony in one
or two days is like a person who attempts to do long divison before he
learns simple addition and subtraction.DsT is a process like any thing
else,and even the wisest Teacher never claims to know all,for the day we
stop learning and growing is the day we die.
