re bio-spawn of super-unnaturals
(not even talkin 'bout Super-children yet! ;>):
apparently considering whether and how Voldemort might continue,

compare
* Merlin (spawn of incubus and nun)
* Daimon Hellstrom (spawn of Satan and human female, I think)
roetursi@hotmail.com (R. Tursi):
# In most Vampire stories that I've read which involved
# Dhampires, their origins and abilities vary slightly.
# In most cases, they have basically most/all vampire
# abilties, and none/less weaknesses. In other cases,
# they are just a weaker version of a vampire.
interesting. diluted fades.
# Also, in most cases I've read, they came about when
# a male vampire does the deed with a female human,
# not from a botched biting.
one might compare also here
* It's Alive monsters (I/II/III/... demon babies?)
how did they get into the womb?
# Right off the top of my head, I can only think of a few stories
# involving Dhampires, but I've actually read quite a few. The ones
# that come to mind are the Vampire Hunter D, and Blade series'.
# (Both of which were comic books that were later adapted into two
# movies each.) I also recall reading several variants on the
# Dracula story which involved Dhampires to various degrees.
thanks for the tips.
the latest one I know about (comics) was an exception to your
rule of male-vamp/female-human here (as it involved a
vampiress-apparently-turned-human mother and a very human
father):
* Deadbeats # 57 to date (Brittany just had a kid after an
UNUSUALLY short pregnancy which may have
cost her her life -- her 'ex' just turned
her into a vampire *again* to keep her
from being lost the dead -- in a vampire
soap opera where people can be turned back
*into living humans* (ordinary? dunno, she
conceived, albeit it quite peculiarly),
almost anything is possible).

Howell and Villagran are the artists.
blessed beast!
