Ouija boards were manufactured by Parker Brothers for many years
prior to becoming a sensation with modern neospiritualists. The
process of 'spirit contact' is fairly well-understood by today's
psychologists as a peculiar type of neurosis.
Fractionated by today's oppressive Church and Governmental systems,
the youth of the industrial nations flock to make contact with their
various psychoses under the guise of 'otherworldly beings'.
Supported by a naive and diffuse metaphysic drawn largely from poorly
understood Christian mysticism, most Ouija board newbies presume to
prevent their own absorption into their shadow selves through the
pretense of association with 'White Light' and 'God' when in fact no
such substance exists apart from their own minds.
Never stopping to consider the ethical ramifications of disturbing
the dead or meddling with necromantic tools in a culture that disdains
self-empowerment, most Ouija board operators alike don't understand
that the source supposedly made accessible through the device is
the equivalent to an open microphone on the street. The entities
and energies which may respond are less reliable than their own
consciences and more likely to presume authority wherein it has none.
There is much hooplah about the 'morality' of using these boards,
of advertising them in public media, etc. What people fail to
understand is that games were originally means of contacting the
gods, that Christian religion has condemned every kind of worldly
pleasure and self-empowerment device that might compete with its
enslavement mentality, and that the Pope is quite likely the
'Anti-christ' portrayed so vividly in the scrapheap ludicrously
referred to as _The Bible_.
Clinging to the Light, Darkness shall find you and rend you limb from limb,
for the Light is weak and spindly in the awesome presence of the Void.
