Do What thou Wilt shall be the Whole of the Law.

93 Acc. Noctis,

>Two fundamental recommended practises of Thelemic Magick are Liber
>Resh vel Helios and 'doing' Will. What have been the benefits and
>insights you have gained from these practises?

I do not do Will often, so I have no opinion on that. I do, however do
Resh (although I have been somewhat lax in it lately...) I have found that
Resh, (beyond the simplistic beauty of truely noticing sunrise and sunset)
has had several subtle (and not-so-subtle) effects on me since I began the
practice. For example, before I began Resh, I had extremely light-sensitive
eyes, and could barely see outside during the day without getting a rather
nasty headache... This has regressed to the point where I no longer get
the headaches, and actually enjoy being out in the sunlight. I have also
noticed that my "internal clock" has become much more *in tune* with the
solar cycles, and I no longer feel the need to wear a watch-- I have also
noticed that I get somewhat depressed and tired when the sun is obscured by
clouds, but when the sun is shining strongly, my energy level increases
dramaticly, and I am in much higher spirits. (Which I have been told is
somewhat normal, but it was never true for me until I began Resh.
