I agree with just about everything you said above, though perhaps not with some of the unspoken details. Unfortunately, looking for the progress of Anton LaVey's work as revealed by his Church of Satan in the last ten years, I don't find it. It may be there, buried under mounds of garbage issued by others. Or it may be held privately within the CoS and not shared with others (though I doubt that latter, based on LaVey's past publications and his history of sharing his advances with the public). LaVey created Modern/American Satanism. That movement is still in its infancy. But from the perspective of only 30 years after, looking back at the last 10 I see no advancement in the movement, at least not from LaVey or the CoS.
