49981022 IIIom Hail Satan!

daemon@churchofsatan.org:
# I have been a long time fan of many of your writings, such as
# "Taboos and the LHP, etc."

nice domain name!

# If I might have your kind permission, I would like to publish
# certain titles of yours at my website (Brimstone Journal) of
# course with full credit and a link to your web site.

I would like that very much. I have two websites: one for which
Iprovide archival admin (Hollyfeld Esoteric Archives), the other
which I administrate all of its elements (TOKUS Website). I'd
prefer a link to the TOKUS Website: http://www.abyss.com/tokus/

# If you have any objections, I will completely understand,
# since i tend to lean towards excessive controversy.

I enjoy controversy and have enjoyed the Church of Satan,
being an admirer of its late High Priest and having had an
article or two printed in CoSatanist publications. if you
are or are not associated with that organization I really
appreciate your activities (if so, your antagonistic slant
is refreshing; if not, your outrageousness at beating the
CoSatanists to the punch ;>).

some comments/queries on your website, which I loved:
# one cannot copyright a religion! The centuries old sigil
# of Baphomet is not the creative and intellectual property of
# "Church of Satan, Inc" - it belongs to all satanists,
# everywhere throughout the world!

please provide a reference for the CoSatanist Baphomet sigil
which precedes the publication of Maurice Bessy's, _A Pictorial
History of Magic and the Supernatural_, London: Spring Books,
1964, which has on its cover the sigil, used in early CoS photos.

# 7. Membership to the First Church of Satan requires a $15
# registration fee (see details below). Those aspiring to the
# priesthood are required to take a written exam.
#

$15 for lifetime membership?! you're almost as convincing as
the Church of Euthanasia (we charge $10 but require a formal
vow to abstain from procreating). as I continue in correspondence
with you and review your website, I'll seriously consider joining
your organization. :> I like what I'm reading so far.

# Yours In Unity,

blessed beast!
