Is Goad a CoS member?

You obviously are not privy to the specifics regarding Goads situation 
as well
as not getting his humor if you want to put up his published material as 
evidence
of abuse.  The girlfriend that got him arrested was a nutcase... and a 
very violent
one at that... in fact she ended up  in jail for exactly the same thing 
Goad did and
because she was female got off lightly. Read "Shit Magnet" for his side 
of the
story... which many in the  Portland area, which was where I was living 
when
he was released will attest to the veracity of his version of the events 
that
lead to him getting a prison sentence.

He's a decent fellow in person, we had him out for a book signing and
gig with Lydia Lunch last December.  A friend of mine went out with him
for awhile and she said there was no violence whatsoever and that he
was quite sweet, though he's a appears to be somewhat of a
womanizer from watching and listening to him when he was
here.

I'm sure you will stick with all the bullshit you've read or
heard from others that were not there, unlike myself who
has spoke with the man, spoke with the people that
helped take care of his wife when she was dying of
cancer and knew him before he went to prison.
