I think the complaint is more along this line: Everyone can agree that "X" is the Kabbalah (for example, the book the Zohar). Most interested people (excluding some Jews) would agree that expansions on "X" (let's call it "Z") are also Kabalistic (for example, some of the teachings of the Golden Dawn). Some people claim that things which are neither X nor Z, and, in fact, have nothing to do with X or Z, are "a" Kabbalah. So the complaint is to question why somebody would call something the Kabbalah when it has no relationship to X or Z. One person has said he has invented a contrived system which deletes X and Z, is based on earlier concepts, but still wants to call it Kabbalah. He has offered to spell the word "Kabbalah" differently. Bully. Re
