For the *Hermetic* Cabala as taught by the GD and associated schools
of Western Esotericism, Fortune's book is an excellent introduction.
It is well written, easy-to-understand, and fairly comprehensive for a
beginner's book.  For traditional *Jewish* Cabala her book is mediocre
at best, but this is not news.

The value of Fortune's book and others like it, depends much on one's
needs and whether one's top priority is exploring Hermetic or
traditional Jewish Cabala.
