To: FiatLVX Christian Magick Elist From: tyagi@houseofkaos.abyss.com (NocTifer) Subject: Revelations and Kali Date: Kali Yuga 49941018 Aum krim namah Kali-ma! Scripture of the gods!! |\|The Revelation of St. John the Divine, Chapter 14. v 14-end: |\|14. And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one |\|sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and |\|in his hand a sharp sickle. |\|15. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice |\|to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the |\|harvest of the earth is ripe. |\|16. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; |\|and the earth was reaped. |\|17. And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, |\|he also having a sharp sickle. |\|18. And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over |\|fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, |\|saying, Thrust in the sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the |\|vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. |\|19. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered |\|the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the |\|wrath of God. |\|20. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out |\|of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a |\|thousand and six hundred furlongs. | |Question: What is the harvest that has ripened that God's angel comes |to reap? NOTE: I love this kind of stuff. This is how I would read and learn from _The Bible_ and how I have done so in many interactions in IRC or other live-time discussion. _______________________________ That harvest can be many things, for this is a formula. As I know little of the context I can only refer to the formula itself and what came to my mind while reading it. These are the workings of angels. Therefore, as I understand angels, they are like midwives, like the administrators of tests and challenges which I've come to associate as given by dakinis in the East and djinn in the Middle-East. The metaphor is Harvest: the gathering of the Crop. The metaphor of that Crop is a vineyard; grapes growing upon vines, cut and removed to the presses. That the Crop is the grape (implying, through press, the product of wine), so is this another version of the Passion of Christ, Hir blood the Elixir of Immortality obtained through the wrath of God. As the product of the press is blood and the source of the text itself 'The Revelation of St. John', so also does this bring to my mind the Cup of the Blood of the Saints of Babalon. The dedication and life-essence of these saints fills the revivifying Graal which shall heal the King and save the Land, restoring all to rights once more. In less mythic terms, we are that Crop, cut down from the heights of glorification in the sins of our ignorance, trodden beyond the limits of the city of our familiarity, and pressed by the pain and anguish of life experience to release the blood of our former, foolish self-images. Cast back as pulp into the compost heap of the world, we drink in the freshness and revel in the joy of an entirely cleansed perspective. Now I'll venture into extremity and fan(ta)cy. These angels are servants of the Queen of Daemons. The Crop is the herd of humans that lives enslaved within the Great Harness called 'the City of the Pyramids'. The job of the angels is to gather up some fresh blood so as to feed their Awesome Queen. They use their sickles (the only consistent tool of Death) to kill residents, unseen, taking the bodies outside the City where their Deed will not be noticed, and squeezing the blood from their victims. The Queen of Daemons is Kali-ma, Mother and Murderer of Her children. The angels are Her arms, doing the Work of Manifestation. The sickles are Her Sword, slicing off the heads of the sacrifices (which will afterwards be collected so as to string upon Her necklace) as well as their arms (for Her skirt). Collecting the blood into a Great Skull, She extends Her tongue to taste of its rich potency and smiles, revelling in the ecstasy only gods and daemons may know. tyagi
