To: alt.magick.tyagi From: tyagi@houseofkaos.abyss.com (nagasiva) Subject: Love Poetry to Kali-Parvati Date: 17 Jan 1995 20:26:38 GMT Orig-Date: unknown, perhaps 92XX or 93XX Greetings of the fondest and warmest Oh Goddess immanent within my experience... Truly a sun rises in my mind's sky as you enter my sphere of perception. A blackbird in a field of yellow flowers, your flight within my time scatters love and light to the far reachs of my inmost being. And purest unconscious body manifested, you wonder at our embrace as much as I. What pleasures we do enjoy, arising from our mutual lack of knowledge in these matters of the Heart. Oh beauteous and virginal Maiden, unspoiled by the ravages of society's politic, how is it that we discover each other in freedom, in unconditional ecstasy, while around us the world moves on, supporting our stasis? What pain, what pleasure in the desire to be One, denied by our bodies and unified in our lovemaking. We becomes the masks of our Self, caressing and loving, a fruitful narcissus. A cyclic rejoining, you wash into my life like the tides of lunacy, cleansing and destroying my idols of false pretense, delivering the nourishing waters of being/becomingness. How brilliant is your Sun of Love. It burns away the fear of isolation and holds me gently in its soft warmth. I watch as rainbows color me in divine light. To explode - A shower of rose petals kissing your cheek - A moment of devotion to your essence and the extent of your form. You reveal the treasures of your eyes to my adoration. A blueness of your shadow, the crispness of your character in freshest renewal. How is it we see each other so much more clearly than we see ourselves? Depth of desire, depth of lust, we drink deeply the draught which will surly bring the fading of our roles, of our parts in this play we call life. Built by others on our cascading amusement ride, the legend of our pairing precedes us as an opera, created by the performers. Encouraged by our division, dancing to the music of infinity, we leap over the fences and hedges of the popular persona-construction. The other side awaits... Hail to Thee wonderous woman of unending laughter Hail to Thee sensuous feline and wielder of raw power Hail to Thee painstaking friend of complex conversation Hail to Thee joyful romper in leafstrewn forests Hail to Thee nurturer, lover, both nurtured and loved Hail to Thee Shakti of ten-thousand flowering lotus-forms Hail to Thee Maya of value most naked in experience Hail to Thee Kali-Parvati, Daughter of the Mountain Hail to Thee Dancer on my prone, willing body Hail to Thee Yvonne of the Stars, Wood Nymph and avatar of Galadriel [dedicated to Yvonne, Larkspur, Parvati-kin, with great and lasting love -- wherever you may be now]
