1. Kali - You said you already know who She is.  Well, Her name is sometimes
   translated as 'black' and here it is quite appropriate.

2. Yuga - A yuga is a period of time, one of the four periods sometimes
   associated with gods or with metals or other items.  Generally there
   are four positive and one restive phases within this grand cycle, and
   as they progress they become shorter and shorter.  The Kali Yuga is
   the last and shortest of the yugas.  It is called the 'black yuga'
   because it includes the dissolution and destruction of all that humans
   hold dear to them.  I have heard that it is supposed to last a total
   of 432,000 years, and that I understand that we have only passed into
   almost 5000 of these (I presume 4994 above).

3. 49941102 ->  4994/11/02 - Today's date.  The 4994th year in the Kali
   Yuga, the 11th month (November) and the 2nd day (a Wednesday).


When the Kali Yuga comes to a close all the universe enters into Darkness
and total stability.  The cosmos are consumed by what scientists might
call 'heat death' as Kali considers how She will once again begin the
Dance of Creation and Destruction.
