Santa Clara officially became the patroness of television during the
1950s or 60s, i think. The reason for this is that she experienced a
metaphysical form of television or televiewing (viewing at a distance)
when she was too ill to attend mass, which was being held several miles
from the convent where she lived, but she saw it all, as if she were
there in the flesh. This MAY make her the patroness of so-called "remote
viewing" and/or astral travel as well, but she has not officially been
recognized as such by the Catholic Church. 

Now for a question: Does anyone know anything about Saint Hilarion? I
just bought a charm flask fewaturing him and am at a loss to decipher
his symbolic staff, bundle, and so forth.
