Well one thing is for sure, it ain't Wiccan since they fail to meet the required standard of WitchCraft, and that being burning culdrons and the like. Witches do not, repeat DO NOT, worship any deities, none. The "craft" in WitchCRAFT is just that, a "craft"; it's a practice not a worship. People such as Silver RavenWolf, Buckland, and that sort only write garbage fantasy books in order to suck the money out of fools, mostly young teen girls with mental problems who "think" that magic is their revenge and the way out of their pathetic lives. As stated, WitchCraft is a practice, the practice of sorcery. Unlike Wicca which is "the cult of WitchCraft", WitchCraft has no rules of three. If one tosses a rock at another, only the other can toss back three rocks more; the rocks don't magically fly back unless ordered by the other. Wicca is "the cult of WitchCraft". This doesn't mean a bunch of real Witches get together to form a cult and then worship that cult. No, Wicca is a cult that worships something outside the norm of what they are, like Heaven's Gate that worshiped a comet. Just because they worship the comet don't mean they are comets themselves; no more so then Gothic people that worship the vampire: This don't make them vampires either though they can "simulate" the fact they are vampires by going through the motion of sleeping by day in a wooden coffin, drinking human blood stolen from a hospital's blood bank, freaking out over a silver cross and of course dropping dead if a wooden stake is rammed through their heart; that would kill anyone. Does all this make them real vampires. No. So much so for Wiccans who simply "emulate" or "simulate" the acts of a real Witch. As with all simulations, they are virtual and unreal with zero powers, whereas a real Witch has real powers because she doesn't worship it, she practices it like any other art. To answer your question, WitchCraft is the practice of sorcery. To be a real Witch, you must first find the power within yourself and then use it as you see fit, be it for good or evil (which are relative terms in the eye of the beholder, such as shooting Hitler would be good to the British and such while evil to the Germans). blackbane@anneli.com http://anneli.com/blackbane IRC : /server anneli.com #witchcraft Status: RO cause she doesn't worship it, she practices it like any other art.
