To: alt.magick From: "Alex Sumner"Subject: Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel Date: Tue, 10 Feb 2004 13:36:31 -0000 Gnome (and others who are interested in the subject), On a Yahoo group the other day we were having a discussion on what is "KCHGA", and what did Crowley mean when he used the term. Opinions were divided along the following lines: * KCHGA means communing with ones Higher Self in an abstract sort of way; * KCHGA is basically the same thing as the tasks the Golden Dawn prescribes for the 5=6 Adeptus Minor grade; hence it is appropriate for a GD-er, as well as Thelemites, to talk about aiming to achieve KCHGA; * KCHGA is neither of the above: instead it is _actual_ Knowledge and _actual_ Conversation of an _actual_ Angelic being, who is _not_ identical with ones Higher Self; KCHGA was not mentioned "as such" by the original GD, and KCHGA per se is not the aim of a GD magician. How do you view KCHGA? Is your view similar to any of these views, or is it different again? AS http://www.geocities.com/alex_sumner/
