I haven't found it. Baculum (Latin for "little rod") is the anatomical term for the penis bone of a male animal. The shape varies among the species of animals, but in most cases it is long and thin with a very slight "S" curve, a bulb at one end, and a little knob with a groove at the other. It is always found in the penis and is the ONLY bone found there, so it is not hard to identify. Not every species of animal has a baculum, and of those that do, the raccoon seems to have the largest in proportion to its body size. Walrus penis bones, called 'oosiks' by the Inuits, are so large that they are used for making harness parts for dog sleds. But still, the raccoon's baculum is proportionately larger with respect to body size. Just another oddity in the realm of penii. For a picture of a raccoon baculum and information on how people prepare them for use in love drawing and for gambling luck, please see the Lucky W Amulet Archive web page http://www.luckymojo.com/raccoonpenis.html The oil used to dress a baculum varies based on what one hopes to accomplish. The most commonly used would be Love Oils, Money Drawing oils, or a powerful oil such as John the Conqueror, Commanding, or Van Van. To purchase these (sometimes called 'Coon Dongs' or 'Love Bones', among other things), see the following web page: http://www.luckymojo.com/mojocatnatural.html For more information on oils to dress them, look at http://www.luckymoj.com/mojocatoils.html Cordially, catherine yronwode Lucky Mojo Curio Co: http://www.luckymojo.com/luckymojocatalogue.html The Lucky W Amulet Archive: http://www.luckymojo.com/luckyw.html check out news:alt.lucky.w for discussions on folk magic and luck
