Hi, If you check the archives, you'll note that Harry's used to be at 
1711 South Street until about 15 years ago. It also has gone quite new 
age in the last 5 years or so. Rick's (not Rich) started life as 
Botanica La Milagrosa on North Fifth Street where Rick still has a 
botanica. He does a mixture of rootwork style services and of course 
palo and Ocha both of which he is an initiate. He has a website and also 
does a wholesale business to other botanicas.

Harry's is more interesting historically than in it's present condition. 
If you dig up the archives of Philadelphia papers, you will find over 
the past two decades a couple of fairly decent articles on Harry's going 
into the history of the family business. I've mentioned some of it in 
passing here before.

While I have always been fascinated by Harry's, I cannot say that 
service there has ever been a charm and since it has gone largely new 
age I find little reason to go in. Rick, it is worth noting is quite 
honest. I have seen him tell clients to go seek other kinds of help when 
that was warranted.
