I am sorry but there is no such thing as (Catholic Witchcraft) If you define "witchcraft" as a form of "Wicca," then the terms cannpt coincide, but in the sense that "witchcraft" is a broad term referring to magical practices of the common people, Catholic "witchcraft" and spell-making does indeed exist. It directs prayer and incovation to God the Father, Jesus, Mary, the Archangels, and a host of intercessory saints, each of which is called upon to aid in certain conditions (e.g. a prayer to Saint Florian guards against damage by fire, a verse addressed to Saint Anthony returns items that have been lost, etc.) For an illustrated web page on Gods and Saints as "lucky" and magical figures -- including the Creator God and the saints of the Catholic religion -- please see the Lucky W Amulet Archive page at http://www.luckymojo.com/deityluck.html From that page you will find links to illustrations and text on an assortment of magical prayers, invocations, and amulets utilizing Catholic imagery, including a Mexican money-drawing charm packet that invokes The Holy Trinity, a Saint Christopher Medal that is said to protect motorists from accidents, and holy cards (colourful images imprinted with a sample invocation to God, an angel, or a saint) that are used as the basis for rituals and spell-workings called "novenas." catherine yronwode Lucky Mojo Curio Co: http://www.luckymojo.com/luckymojocatalogue.html The Lucky W Amulet Archive: http://www.luckymojo.com/luckyw.html Sacred Sex: http://www.luckymojo.com/sacredsex.html The Sacred Landscape: http://www.luckymojo.com/sacredland.html Freemasonry for Women: http://www.luckymojo.com/comasonry.html Comics Warehouse: http://www.luckymojo.com/comicswarehouse.html check out news:alt.lucky.w for discussions on folk magic and luck
