****It obviously started a long time before Linda Goodman, but this is
an excellent post. Very well worked out, thought provoking and
original. The Venus pentagram analogy is accurate in more ways than
you may suspect, which tends to justify the Astaroth=Astarte Goetia
connection. Originally there were 72 Egyptian gods of the quinances,
some good, some evil. This developed into the 36 day spirits and 36
night spirits in medieval terminology. Let's have more discussion on
this theme. This is what this news group is supposed to be doing.
