To: alt.magick.tyagi,alt.religion.wicca,alt.necronomicon,alt.magick From: renSubject: Ren's PseudoHistorical Essay On The Necronomicon Date: Sat, 15 Jul 2000 01:04:28 -0700 The Author In the 700's there lived an Arab mystical poet and wanderer by the name of Abdul Alhazred. They called him Al Azif because he wrote about the nocturnal buzzing of desert insects which echoed the voices of the Djinn or evil spirits out there on his lonely travels. Abdul was fluent in writing in many languages and was a scholar of Egyptian and Chaldean Mystery Teachings. He set out to compose The Necronomicon in Damascus. 730c.e. The Content The book is about extra-terrestrial races who came to Earth and subdued it. They are known as the Old Ones and live deep in the Heavens, Earth and Sea. Abdul describes star gates by which these beings may be summoned to interact with humans who dare to communicate. In exchange for service, the Old Ones teach these brave people magick and thus rule the world and course of events through their students. The Main Story The story centers around the greatest of Old Ones a Dragon by the name of Kutulu who sleeps in a sunken desert city and lucidly possesses his human host and servant, Nyarlathotep. The Powers Of Kutulu/Nyarlathotep Kutulu's main goal is to direct the course of human events as ruler of the Earth. He does this through his human host, Nyarlathotep. Nyarlathotep much like Al Azif is a wanderer, poet, disguised begger. When in reality Nyarlathotep is a magician priest king who goes around telling the rulers of the Earth what Kutulu wants them to do. Of Angels and Devils Like all great battles the extra-terrestrials brought their theater to Earth long ago before humans could even write. The friends of humanity fly around in U.F.O.s high above the Earth and protect it from creatures who would devour us and exploit us. Only Kutulu and his small species have made it past the blockade and into the hearts of men and women.
