    Abramelin the Mage was originally written in German,  there are two
German texts at the Library of the British Museum.  The most common
translations one from the Arsenal text which is in French, and a translation
from the German text, but containing only  2/3's of the original work.  .
    Internal evidence shows that it was not written by a Jew.
