i.e. it is well-known that fetuses respond to rhythmic sounds
and loud voices prior to birth, for example.

that's kinda the problem with "feeling" things. they might be
fictional.

yeah? and here I thought an avatar was a manifestation of 
Lord Vishnu, of which, many Vaisnavites suggest, Krishna, the main
character of "Bhagavad Gita", was one.

keen, sorta like a pre-programmed angel kinda thing. and you say
this is described in the Song of God (Bhagavad Gita)? whereat?

then you'll want to ascribe 'life' to everything so you don't
miss anything that *might* be alive. what accord and respect
you feel is due to all these living beings will determine the
nature of your response.

beautiful example of how ALL souls are imagined beyond the reality
of the quite real stuff that shifts through it all without any kind
of identifiable essential core.
