"Asiya" : >I'm not sure what you mean, as far as how it applies specifically to >this. I don't have the confidence that the figments and splinters of character that come through usenet forums are sufficient to resolve these matters. better taken to private email and handled offline. if you agree with the assessment that you prefer thinking and transpersonal psychology (implying, apparently, that you or someone like you may find an encounter with the HGA in abstract and disconnected forms beneficial), then my reflections above and below may be helpful. if you're convinced that a personal HGA is the most or least powerful, then my words may sound tame by contrast (because they relativize the experience to the character of the mage). >Can you elaborate? all I was saying was that sometimes personal interactions are not conducive to continued psychological integrity, for example, or for resonance with an established, rigidified, and nonpersonalized cosmological structure (for which such a personal interaction would prove unsettling or, indeed, completely unhinging). it does not make either personal or impersonal experiences of the HGA more valuable. the 'career' of the magician and its trajectory will be more like to determine these things. 333
