The secular alchemist already has white Easter, the day of the crucible and the egg. And the ascetic already has Black Wednesday, the day of the ashes. As far as I know, the hermetic year generally begins around the month of the lamb. The IWWW (Bread and Roses) would say that until the Revolution (Messiah) actually arrives, the first of May is not yet the answer, only the question. So call it what you want.
