I don't think I've ever tried jelly. the first one I ever had was
a type of synthetic rubber that was supposed to make the vibrator
look more like a cock. I found the vibrations through this material
in my ass (where I used it, I am male, predominantly heterosexual)
to be very exciting, but the corrogation in the rubber was difficult
to clean, and I ended up getting some dildos more conducive to anal
stimulation in the shower (water-tight). these were smooth and
hard, which I didn't like as much, but their water-tightness made
this texture irrelevant (esp. the small one which I almost lost
inside me more than once :> careful!). later I got a more squishy
(jelly?) butt plug (not a vibrator) and found this to be better
for movement and penetration (I've found that the use of cones is
always more intense than penis-shaped objects) but not exciting in
the same way as a vibrating dildo (which, even with the hard
plastic surface, at times produced extremely intense orgasms). I
suppose the most intense would be a cushy cone-shaped vibrator,
but I've never seen such a thing.

I gather that these have different names. one of my friends used
to have what she called a 'beaver' that had an animal with a moving
tongue attached to a dildo for clitoral stimulation and she swore
by it. metal sounds about like the hard plastic I used before,
though I imagine the buzz factor on the metal might be more intense,
and might make one's teeth feel funny. :>

I wonder if there is a comparable texture-preference amongst men
who've used artificial vaginas (I've never explored those).
