LORD FIRE? rude guess, not even worthy your attention. it does have something to do with fires and return of light and biological juices, sex, the kinds of things that perpetuate from generation to generation, but usually not what may be transmitted from organism to organism. it comes from the Celts, in Gaelic, something like "beallteenn". > astronomicaly etc. midpoint 'tween Equinox (~March 21) and Solstice (~June 21) with Feb 2, Aug 2, and Nov 1 (often even Oct 31-Nov 1) are called 'Cross-Quarter' days. they make up the Solar Wheel composed of these yearly markers and the Equinoxes and Solstices. different religions will associate different things with the days, especially these Cross-Quarter dates. ancient Celts had festivals on these days. today revivalist cults are devising all manner of association scheme in their religion and magic, at times combining religion and magic very creatively. lorax666
